With a tight first half, the Lady Rams showed the Wasatch Bees the Highland way to win with a final score of 52-26. Juniors Macy Wilson and Alex Debow and seniors Marlee Machon and Lea Havili led the Lady Rams the way to another win adding to their 3-1 overall.

The first two quarters being a battle of on and off shots between the teams, let the Rams know that a pick up was needed. After a quick half time, the Rams held the Bees to 1 point 3rd quarter and by the end of 3rd quarter the Rams had easily taken over the game being up 30 points.

Their tough defensive skills were no match for the Bees. Quick rebounds and easy 3-pointers from the team created a positive atmosphere which led to the Rams encouraging one another to keep it up. The quick pick up after half time allowed for everyone on the Varsity team to get a chance to play and it was easy to notice how the girls are starting to come together as a team.

Junior Macy Wilson said, “With a new coach this year, we will have to continue to learn our new offense and defense and hopefully improve on it every game. Go Rams.”

The Lady Rams take on Lone Peak this Saturday December, 12th with their eyes on another win. Their dedicated minds and positive attitudes towards one another can only assure a win is in their chances.
