Puppies for Rent

Puppies are a trigger to melting any heart. Their playful personalities, abundance of energy and unconditional love make them the perfect companion. However, owning a puppy can be a large responsibility and not everyone has time to care for and love these sweet animals.
Puppies for Rent LLC, is a humanitarian organization that is becoming the newest fad at Highland and surrounding schools. Their main goal is to help puppies find a home; those interested in adopting a pet, and students and others were are not currently able to own a pet.
Most of the dogs come from families that are not able to take care of them, rescue organizations, and accidental pregnancies. Puppies for Rent believes that it is hard to decide whether or not a certain pet will work well in someone’s home without getting to know the pet first. With branches in Provo, Logan, and Salt Lake City, people are now available to rent a puppy for a certain amount of time before deciding whether or not it is a good fit for their family.
Along with finding homes for the adorable dogs, renting puppies has been used by students and other individuals who are not able to permanently take care of a puppy but want to experience all of the perks of their playful personalities. It is a great way to relieve stress and similar methods are used in many universities, including Yale, to decrease student stress and increase positive attitudes and good feelings.
Several students at Highland have been renting puppies for a fun activity to do with friends on weekends or days off. Kennedy McDonald, a sophomore at Highland, rented a puppy form this organization and reported it was a great experience. McDonald heard about the organization from a twitter account and thought that it would be a entertaining, unique thing to do with her friends.
“We were at my house with her, and she (the puppy) decided that she was going to drag my backpack, that was twice her size, across the floor. Sure enough she did it, it was the cutest sight ever,” said McDonald.
As well as McDonald, other students from Highland have had similar experiences and have nothing to say but wonderful things when asked how their experience was. Carter Robinson, a senior at Highland also rented a puppy for the day.
“We went on a hike with it, and it got so tired it fell asleep, and was snoring so loud,” said Robinson.
“You still get to enjoy the fun part of having a puppy without all the hard things that come along with living with one,” said McDonald.
Puppies for Rent LLC, delivers the puppies around a radius in the heart of Salt Lake City. They take down all legal client information to ensure the safety of each puppy. You pay by the hour and can choose from a variety of puppies to spend your time with.
The next time your friends are looking for a fun thing to do, or you need some stress relief before a big test, renting a puppy may be the solution to all your problems, and who knows, you may even end up adopting it!
