Costumes Get Freaky At Freak East
January 15, 2018
Freak East is the Highland equivalent of the Golden Globes. Everyone is dressed up (or down) and there to support our teams in their game against East. The freakiest thing on the court of Freak East this year was the buzzer beater scored with supernatural skill (cheer was a close second). Off the court though, it was Keaton Campbell and the countless other students who went all out for the night. Due to the variety of costumes, the Rambler staff has decided to divide the photos up into individual sections. (think awards, but with no actual award)

Freak East is a time for creativity in the worst way possible. Occasionally, the masterpieces created within the darkest places of Highland student’s minds make even the freaks in the stands around them uncomfortable. Senior Keaton Campbell became the epitome of freaky with his depiction of the rapper Lil Peep (rest in peace). A mysterious nose ring and a plethora of disturbing tattoos make Campbell’s costume eligible for the esteemed title of most likely to get kicked out.
