Students Get Prizes At Keys To Success Assembly

On May 19th, Keys To Success came to Highland High to present some rewards to both pre-selected and randomly selected students, primarily money prizes such as scholarships. For one hour, the students sat down in the gym primarily filled with energy to get the prizes Keys To Success had to offer. The grand prize for one lucky student was a $400 Apple product gift card. That lucky student is Christian Rich.

From four different pre-selected groups, one lucky student from each group got a chance to try a key into the Keys To Success car, which if the siren sounded they won the grand prize.

“It was terrifying,” Rich explained, “to the point where I didn’t want to win it. But the second I put the key in I new it was the one.”

It was an exciting end to the assembly.

“I don’t know what to do with it, maybe split it up between everyone,” Rich said jokingly.

The other winners included those who got $1000 scholarships, candy, shirts, cash, and those who got discounts at Waffle Love. Other partners include Mountain America, Chick-fil-a, and many other companies to make the assembly possible.
