This past week has been filled with posters covering the walls, skits entertaining the students, and fierce competition. The candidates this year were well qualified and ready to step up to the plate of leading the school. Marcus Leone, currently a junior at Highland, won the election to become Student Body President for the 2015-2016 school year.

“I’m so excited, and can’t wait to work hard and get all the students involved. I just want everyone to have fun and be part of something next year.” said Leone.

After all the hard work that the candidates put into their campaign, there is no doubt that they will continue their hard work throughout the next year to make Highland as successful as possible.
