The Rams were looking for a bounce back win after a tough loss to region rival East. This was going to be a tough game for the Rams after not beating Olympus for over four years. The Titans got off to a 5-0 start but the rams battled back 10-13 at the end of the first quarter. Rams were within striking distance, then quickly fell behind as the Titans started the second quarter with a 10-0 run thanks to a spark off the bench from Zack Alder. Alder got the Titans going, the Rams couldn’t  do anything to slow Alder and the rest of the Titans down. The Titans jumped to a half time lead of 17-39. The Rams needed to get something going before the game got any worse.  The Rams struggled with this as starting point guard Liki Makaui left halfway through the third quarter, this was very difficult for the Rams as they already lack depth. Olympus took advantage of Makaui’s injury as they had their best quarter as they out scored the Rams 29-8 in the third quarter. Alder and Senior Jeremy Dowdell were major contributors to the Titans 29 point quarter. Alder and Dowdell combined for 11 threes and 53 points. The Rams were only able to put up eight points that quarter. With a score of  25-68 at the end of the third, the fourth quarter was primarily played by each team’s J.V team. Highland’s bench provided a spark for the Rams; however it was too little to late. The final score was 42-79.The Rams will look to get their revenge on the Titans at Olympus on February 5th.
