Within the past year a new taco truck has sat in the New Country Cleaners parking lot on 21st South and about 21st East. Tacontento has quickly become a neighborhood favorite.

Throughout the past years there have been many different food stands in that parking lot, however none of them have proven to be successful, and have been able to stay there for an extended period of time. It doesn’t look like the truck will be going anywhere any time soon with frequent customers and constant traffic.

Highland Junior Jayne Connolly said, “I love it [Tacontento], Its my go to whenever I want to get mexican food”.

If there’s one thing that a highschool student knows, it’s how to eat out on a budget. Taconteon is the perfect place for highschool students. You can get a full meal and a variety of tacos for five dollars, business hours open early and close late, service is great and they get you your food fast even when it is more crowded.

I am personally a very big fan of Taconteon Taco Truck and would highly recommend whether you are looking for a quick meal, taking dinner home to your family or just looking for some authentic mexican street tacos for a good price.
