Emma Johnson, Editor-in-Chief

Hi, I'm Emma Johnson, and I'm a senior at Highland High. This is my third year writing for the Rambler, and my first year as Editor-in-Chief. I'm excited to make some great newspapers this year with our mostly-new staff. At Highland, I'm also a runner and captain on the cross country and track teams. Out of school, I like running on my own as well as skiing, hiking, and mountain biking. I'm passionate about environmental conservation, so you can see me at almost any climate strike or working with one of several activist organizations. In the future I want to study environmental science, but I would love to find a way to incorporate journalism into that because strong writing skills are an asset in almost every area of life.
