Gabi de Oliveira, Staff Writer
Gabi de Oliveira is a sophomore at Highland, and this is her first year on the rambler as a writer. Gabi (pronounced GAH-bee) is a Brazilian citizen who loves writing, and has done multiple opinion pieces for her old school. Gabi is a film student outside of school and enjoys screenwriting and directing. She can talk for a very long time about politics, movies, history, and photography. When not doing homework or writing, you can likely find Gabi sleeping or dancing- most likely to ABBA. Gabi is an ambassador for March For Our Lives, a member of Diversify Our Narrative and Girls Lobby, and the founder of Students Demand Action in Salt Lake City. She is the winner of her 4th grade spelling bee.
